Prayer Ministry
We are known as "The Praying Church"!
Our prayer warriors meet every Wednesday night at 7pm in the church fellowship hall but prayer continues without ceasing. LBC is known in the community as “The Praying Church” and many have seen the Hand of God move in mighty ways as fervent prayer has been lifted to the Lord.
The church also has a designated prayer room where people can go to spend time with the Lord in peace and solitude.
Back Packs of Food Ministry
Helping The Community
Back Packs of Food Ministry to kids in need at Parkside Elementary in conjunction with the Western MD Food Bank. Backpacks loaded with food are taken to the school by the end of each week during the school year for kids to eat over the weekend.
FAITH AND BLUE
Blessing the Community alongside our law enforcement partners
Law Enforcement Appreciation Services offered to lead the community in appreciating our police officers and praying for them. Pastor Jim serves as chaplain for the LaVale Barrack of the Maryland State Police. Every October, LBC and MSP team up for a day of fun with the community on the LBC grounds called Faith and Blue. There's a big picnic, games, fun, and there's even been a petting zoo! Fun for the whole family.
